19th Century Regency Mahogany Hall Bench

Description

An exceptional, large, late Regency mahogany hall seat/hall bench of powerful scale. Having impressive 's' scroll ends with solid panels and carved mouldings with foliage. The large, rectangular seat has a moulded edge and a plain frieze below. Raised on turned and carved tapering legs with fluted mouldings. Finished on both sides so can be used free standing. English circa 1830.

In its original untouched condition, wonderful colour and patina.
