Description

This is a most handsome Chinese table of superb quality which dates from around 1870. The fine table is a substantial piece of really good scale, beautifully carved in the best rosewood with a stunning rouge marble inset top.

It is a fine size for a large lamp table also and would look fabulous wherever it was placed.

The solid rosewood has a fabulous glowing patina throughout and is skillfully carved. The table surface is inlaid with a substantial rouge marble slab which is in perfect order and has a lovely figured grain and pleasing colour.

The table is a very good size measuring 82 cms in height and 62 cms wide overall, (including the impressive carved head detail.)
