Antique Victorian Carved Oak Settle Monks Bench. This wonderful Victorian carved oak settle / hall seat / monks bench has carved cavaliers either side at the top under having a lovely carved detailed border with two carved panels of interior scenes the beautiful solid oak arm rests have carved and scroll detail with a lions head. The seat has carved decoration to the top the seat lifts for storage the edge is also carved, under having a carved panel with a lions head carved to the centre, flanked either side by carved lions head with carved leaves and acorns all supported by carved base. The sides of the bench have a raised panel.
