Impressive Victorian box settle in solid oak featuring three decoratively carved back panels. This settle has beautifully smooth slightly curved open arm supported by well turned supports. The seat lifts on original iron hinges revealing a large storage space ideal for boots, shoes etc. Superb graining and rich deep colour, that can only be achieved with age really enhances the look of this very handsome settle. Overall condition is excellent with only marks and wear in line with it long history of use. A striking piece of antique furniture for any hall or kitchen.
