A quaint late 19th Century washstand circa 1895. Of Irish origins, the base has two cupboards sat on turned legs which terminate on their original castors. Above is a white marble top which gives way to a very attractive tiled splash back. The tiles are a deep green and have a central floral tile with a set of four shamrocks to the sides. All framed in a detachable back which has a nice fretted pediment to finish it off. These washstands are finding more and more uses both around the house in businesses such as hairdressers.
