Description

A quaint late 19th Century washstand circa 1895. Of Irish origins, the base has two cupboards sat on turned legs which terminate on their original castors. Above is a white marble top which gives way to a very attractive tiled splash back. The tiles are a deep green and have a central floral tile with a set of four shamrocks to the sides. All framed in a detachable back which has a nice fretted pediment to finish it off. These washstands are finding more and more uses both around the house in businesses such as hairdressers. The condition is very good and ready to use.
