Description

A superb quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany washstand typical of the quality of the more upmarket cabinet makers of the day. The Minton tiles have very subtle colouring of pale blue, grey and brown. The crossbanded drawers both have solid mahogany linings and white marble top is in good order. The rail to the top of the tiled back is of double use - firstly as a curtain rail to give privacy when placed in front of a bedroom window and secondly as a towel rail. The brass handles and side rails are original as are the castors. This is a large washstand that could have many uses - desk/drinks/hairdressers etc etc. The condition is very good and ready to use.
