Description

A rare pair of early 17thc Oak Joyned Benches....so hard to find a single 17thc bench, but these are a true pair, each stamped with an owners "inventory" mark (see picture).....original throughout with a very good natural colour, they have simple lunette carving with reverse lunette as an infill underneath.....all the stretchers have a double line moulding.... there is a large "thumb nail" moulding running all around the top and it is joined to the base by six pegs.
