Here is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid mahogany window seat, circa 1910, which has been newly upholstered in a pale gold upholstery, which is in excellent condition.

Here is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid mahogany window seat, circa 1910, which has been newly upholstered in a pale gold upholstery, which is in excellent condition. The stuff-over seat has been newly upholstered in top quality luxurious pale gold floral pattern structured satin brocade upholstery, with matching braiding. The seat itself is firm, which means that you won’t sink into the upholstery, but at the same time, it is very comfortable to sit on. The seat features a straight mahogany frieze, raised on finely shaped cabriole legs

Condition Report:

Here is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid mahogany window seat, circa 1910, which has been newly upholstered in a pale gold upholstery, which is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame (see photos), but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The mahogany frame has been French polished by hand to a professional standard; therefore, the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. The seat has been newly and professionally upholstered in top quality floral pattern pale gold structured satin brocade upholstery, finished with matching braiding. The seat itself is firm, which means that you won’t sink into the upholstery, but at the same time, it is very comfortable to sit on. The upholstery is therefore new, clean and free from any wear, dirt or damage. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
