C19th pair of Chinoiserie painted occasional tables, having gilt decoration on a green background; the square tops profusely decorated, each with a different Chinese figure in a landscape of trees and foliage, with a Chinese pattern border. The edge with a slender gilt moulding. The shallow frieze painted with red Chinese lettering above a slender moulding raised on square tapering legs having gilt decoration.
