Description

A most unusual British Antique! This late 18th century combination washstand and commode would have graced the home of a wealthy Georgian family. This piece is made of top quality mahogany & has that genuine ‘Georgian’ look & feel. The moulded edged split hinged top opens to an interior with wash bowl aperture. The central cupboard door opens to extremely useful recess which is over a pull-out commode stand. The piece is fitted with brass handles and raised on moulded and chamfered square legs. This is the original en-suite solution, that today would make a wonderful bedside cabinet.
