18th Century West Country Antique Settle Seat

A beautiful English Georgian antique slightly curved settle that is a lovely size and proportion. Made in the 18th century in the West Country in oak and pine and still a wonderful, original colour. The settle has wide backboards that are waisted then reach down to the floor, with open arms and standing on square,well moulded front legs that have an very old repair to the tips. All in very good, solid and correct condition, this Georgian country seat is comfortable to sit in, as it has a nice rake to the back rest. A super model that is a wonderful colour and patina.
