Cracking late 18th / early 19th century Georgian oak cabriole leg lowboy of the best colour and patination you could wish for. Cabriole legs all round, but unusually normal rounded ones to the front with square ones to the back. Three drawers with walnut cross banding and old but not original brass plate handles. The drawers are all walnut lined. The top has a quarter round moulding all round the top edge including the back and has a nice bit of shaping to the front corners. The sides are shaped at the bottom and there is a lovely shaped freize below the middle drawer. The lowboy is the best of colour with a super skin on it. Waxed finish.
The lowboy is in good condition apart from slight damage to the foot part of the back left leg plus I think a couple of the shaped ears might be old replacements.
SIZE; 30" wide by 22" deep by 28 1/2" high
