In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It has a pierced central splat with narrow turned spindles either side and it stands on turned legs joined by stretchers. It has a broad shaped seat, big enough for two to sit comfortably without itself being overly large.

It is in good condition and the oak has a lovely grain and wonderful rich colour. One back spindle has been replaced but it is a very good match and there is a small repair to another. There are signs of age and use but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been cleaned and given a light wax and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
