Antique Georgian Oak Writing Box Slope on Stand C1780 Wdb4813/1.6

Description

Antique george 111 oak writing slope on stand and dating from around 1780. It has a sloping top with internal shelf and brass escutcheon and above a long drawer which is pine lined with small brass knob handles. The stand has a moulded edge to the top above a shaped frieze and standing on squared tapered legs.

The writing slope separates from the stand.

In very good condition with a lovely deep nut brown colour and patination to the oak it measures: 40" high X 16" deep X 24" wide
