Description:

Here is a fine quality antique English Regency style flame mahogany two tier serving trolley table, constructed during the Edwardian period, circa 1901 - 1910, displaying a lovely rich colour, in excellent original condition. The table features a single plank moulded top, with a gallery upstand, preventing items from falling off. Below the top is a faux drawer. The top and faux drawer are raised on turned supports, connecting to a lower shelf, which also features a gallery upstand. Further below, is a single flame mahogany drawer, which features dovetail construction and mahogany lining. Both the faux drawer and real drawer boast cock beaded fronts and the original shaped brass handles and flame mahogany fronts. The table stands on turned legs, which terminate on the original large brass castors. The table features the original top and the frame has been constructed in the traditional joined manner for that period. This mahogany side table is solid in joint and ready to use.

Condition Report:

This Edwardian Regency style mahogany trolley table is in excellent original condition, considering its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The table has been French polished, by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. The drawer features dovetail construction and is mahogany lined. The drawer also boasts a cock beaded front and the original brass handles. The table retains the original solid brass castors. There are no breaks to the frame or legs. This table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
