This is a very rare Welsh 18th century antique Monks bench in fruitwood and elm woods.
The table top slides back well to form a back rest for when in use as a bench seat. A nice added extra is the lower panelled back to prevent draughts around the lower leg area. A superb example and a rare survivor.
