Large 6'X4' Set of Pigeon Holes

1900 - 1920
Description

An early 20thC 16 section pigeon hole unit. Substantial pitch pine construction with dovetails on all four corners. Very good size being 6' by 4' (183cm by 122.5 cm) and each pigeon hole being 43 cm wide by 28 cm high and 44 cm deep.

The section size and depth would be excellent for a shop display of clothes shoes or handbags. Perfect for the home as well. Each pigeonhole has a brass number plaque numbered from 1 to 16. One side has a faded lettering 'JZ' which has been left but could be sanded out no doubt. Clean and ready for use.
