Late Regency Mahogany Magazine Holder

18th century
Description

Good clean late Regency solid mahogany canterbury or magazine holder in good original condition. Single drawer with cock beaded edge and brass knob handles. Nicely turned tall legs with original brass castors. Very nice turned and carved finials to the top of the uprights at the corners. Originally made for storage of sheet music or similar, now-a-days they make great magazine / newspaper holders.

This example is in good original condition with no breaks and no repairs.

Nice colour with original patination and waxed finish.
