French Geometric Marquetry Etagere Side Table

1900 - 1920
Description

Beautifully made and very decorative French geometric amboyna and rosewood etagere side table with ebonised turned column supports and a 3/4 brass gallery top. Circa 1900 and in lovely original condition.

The table is made so it can free stand, being finished on all sides meaning it can stand as a sofa lamp table for example, but would also work as a stand alone piece being such a great quality and decorative table. Everything works so well and contrasts brilliantly, certainly a well thought out piece of furniture by a great craftsperson.

There is a single drawer to the top and you then have the two lower shelves, so could potentially work as a small drinks table top perhaps.
