A Georgian Mahogany Canterbury

Description

An elegant and simple boat shaped mahogany Canterbury with ebony stringing. Turned and tapering legs, with ebonised rings, terminating in original brass castors. Single mahogany lined drawer with original pressed gilt brass handles. An unusual detail is the gilt brass applied moulding around the base. Super quality and condition, in keeping with the rest of our antique furniture it has not been re-finished. C1820.
