This Canterbury magazine rack is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. It has a fantastic colour and patination; having been professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. The panels are complete, with no missing sections or brakes. The drawer features old replacement (likely Victorian or Edwardian) brass backplates and circular handles. The drawer retains the original working lock, with working key and is mahogany lined, displaying fine hand dovetailing. The feet and brass castors are all original.
