Description

An excellent quality Edwardian satinwood free-standing tapered pedestal.

The pedestal consists of a satinwood top of square form with a moulded edge with vertical inlaid boxwood and satinwood stringing below.

This leads down to tapered panels of satinwood with ebony stringing and satinwood crossbanding supported by a moulded plinth to the base.

This pedestal is in good condition for age, is of stable constriction and can go straight into a home – an ideal piece for displaying bronzes, vases etc.
