This highly decorative Edwardian Mahogany Covered Canterbury is a rare item indeed. Offering storage for your papers and magazines, it looks so much tidier to keep them underneath the flaps out of eyesight, rather than in the more usual open Canterburys.
With inlaid lines to the legs and a profusion of Satinwood banding to the other surfaces, that complements the rich warm hue of the mahogany so well, it is a very striking visual feast for the eyes. The drawer is of a good length, offering further storage. The brass fittings, castors and handles add yet more sparkle to the piece.
Finished all round it can be viewed from any angle in a room. A particularly good quality piece of furniture, using good timber and fittings allied with fine cabinetmaking.
