Whytock and Reid Padouk Chest of Drawers

1920 - 1940
Description

Circa 1930, rare Whytock and Reid neat sized chest in straight-grained and figured padouk. The shaped bow front top is in figured, quartered burr padouk with straight grained cross banding. This is over 2 shaped front drawers with mahogany liners and foliate carved knobs, with shaped sides. It is all supported on tapering solid legs with splayed toes.
