The rectangular top having easel adjustment, with wooden book-rest. To the right of the book rest is a very useful drawer, with compartments for pens etc.

Below and to each side are two compartmented tiers for books or displaying.
Supported by very elegant ebonised ring turned legs, with the original brass castors.
The stand is in original condition, having developed a warm rich patina to the figured mahogany.
A beautiful very useful item from a very elegant era.
In excellent antique condition. Expected signs of age.
Strong, solid and sturdy.
