A Campaign Brass-mounted Mahogany Occasional Table Wash Stand

An excellent quality 19th Century brass-mounted and mahogany military washstand or side table.

Probably made by the company of William Day, Strand, London. (Est.1812) who made Knock Down Campaign Furniture of this type.

Made of solid mahogany each tier is connected by brass rods which easily unscrew to form a flat unit for transporting, the tiers are also interchangeable with each other. There is a slight shrinkage split to one panel.

Wear commensurate with age.
