Early Oak Settle Circa 1680-1700

Description

Lovely old oak settle quite large with 5 beautiful carved panels in the back and 3 in the base. Full length plank seat that lifts up for storage with 3 blacksmith made hinges, lots of historic wear and tear with old dead wood worm holes, ancient repairs, cracks and splits but it is solid and strong and sits well on the floor. It looks superb and makes a statement of history and age
