A Rare French Double Sided Hall Stand

Description

A large French double sided hall stand. Unusual and suitable for a hotel or substantial property. Two original cane work shelves (almost completely intact) probably used for hats shoes or slippers . Two upper brass rails and an upper worn velvet rail used for shoes. Canes stands (or umbrellas) flank either side. Flaked original paint with brass top rails and umbrella/stick retainers. Original drip trays. Kick out feet. One small bit of moulding missing to the bottom rear frieze....A rare piece from the 19th century.
