A French Cherry Inglenook Bench

Description

A very nice late 19thC French cherry wood bench. Particularly nice as it has a useful long side drawer. Probably made to fit within a large inglenook fireplace. Simple in design with pegged tenon joints. The front frieze with wavy edge decoration. Brass pull to the side drawer.

84 cm wide 37 cm deep and the seat 38 cm high and the back 78 cm high.
