Description

A fine mahogany dumb waiter / sideboard of bow fronted form with top quality Sheraton Revival inlay in satinwood, boxwood and stained sycamore. The whole cross banded in satinwood between boxwood and ebony lines, the moulded and floral inlaid up-stand above the 2 bow fronted and inlaid frieze drawers both having brass lion’s head ring handles. The ring turned and carved columns joining the lower 2 door bow fronted cupboard again with fine inlay and opens to a shelved interior. The whole stands on short square tapering legs, complete with working locks and keys and bearing brass label for the well known S. & H. Jewell of Holborn, London. Condition- very good and original.
