Description

This is a large good quality solid mahogany three piece bergere suite in super condition dating from around 1900. The suite is a double caned design with the cane work all in excellent order and having a really good colour. The back rails are all attractively carved with acanthus detail and the legs are all substantial ball and claw design. This has been reupholstered very professionally in a beautiful, quality cotton damask fabric which is in super, clean condition. The suite has sumptuous feather filled cushions with extra scatter cushions and feature roll cushion ends to the sofa. 16 cushions in total, all feather filled, piped and upholstered in this quality matching fabric. The sofa measures 170 cms wide 85 cms deep and 92 cms high. The seating area is 150 cms long and 60 cms deep with the seat height being 45 cms from the floor. The chairs measure 76 cms wide 85 cms deep and 92 cms high. Seat area is 60 by 60 cms and 45 high.
