Shapely English 19th Century Antique Seat

This is a very decorative antique upholstered seat / bench /daybed that is well carved and finished on all sides, so it can freestand in a room. Decorated with channel moulded friezes on all four sides and with carved acanthus leaf medallions on both sides. In very good, solid and strong condition, this beautiful 19th century antique daybed stands on six, square and tapering legs that are finished with original wooden rollers / castors. The comfortable seat is newly upholstered and the seat frame is finished in a old, but not original grey paint finish.
