Description

A lovely decorative cast iron garden bench. It dates from the late 19th / early 20th Cent and is in excellent, original condition.

The casting is very crisp and detailed indicating it was made from original patterns and not a recast copy.

There is some surface rust and a strengthening strip of steel has been added above the front frieze, other than that it is in excellent condition with no breaks or missing bits. The wooden slated seat is in good condition with no splits or rot.

The maximum dimensions are:

152cm (60") wide

99cm (39") high

60cm (24") deep
