Unusual Set of Pitch Pine Hanging Shelves

Description

Unusual design set of mid 19th century Scottish pitch pine hanging shelves of Gothic design. The piece has four shelves with a pair of drawers beneath. The columns between the shelves are chamfer moulded on all the corners with lovely shape turned finials to the top. The top of the shelves has an unusual carved "ogee" shaped cacillated type design. The drawers are dovetailed and have their original turned knobs. The edges of the shelves have applied brass studded leather. The shelves are a nice colour with original patination.
