Rare 1920's Heals Decorated Chest Cupboard & Dressing Table

This is a fabulous, rare set of early 20th century ebonised and decorated Heals furniture, designed by Ambrose Heal. All three pieces are in super condition, the set comprises of a Heals chest of drawers, a Heals cupboard and a free-standing Heals vanity mirror. All are made in solid pine and still in the ebonised finish and then hand decorated. The painting team at the time was lead by Miss Hindshaw who was an art teacher at the Central School of Arts & Crafts. She and other talented ladies worked on these select pieces which were designed by Ambrose Heal. Only a very small number of these Heals bedroom furniture sets were ever made, as it was so expensive to produce. Very good quality, sold together as a set of three piecesof Heals furniture. A rare set.
