Fine Queen Ann Walnut Lowboy

A really nice Queen Ann Walnut Lowboy of lovely honey colour and small proportions with Ogee cross grain moulding, shaped apron and cabriole legs with slipper foot. The quarter veneered top and drawer fronts inlaid with box wood stringing. The Chased handles were cast and then finished by hand, they are original and typical of the Queen Ann Period. The underside of the drawers amazingly retain all of there original wooden spring locks, these are operated by pushing them up from underneath to release and then pulling the drawer out.
