Aesthetic Period Bamboo Shelves Whatnot

Description

This is a very pretty bamboo display stand with Chinese lacquered panels to the shelves dating from the aesthetic period, circa 1870. It has four shelves, two large and two small, and the lacquered panels have abstract patterns in shades of red, amber and brown. The bamboo frame is in excellent order and has a good rich colour. This is a great item for display. The shelves are 46" high, 21" wide and 14" deep.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
