Rare Superb Quality Victorian Figured Mahogany Drop Leaf Occasional Table

This Rare Superb Quality Victorian Figured Mahogany Drop Leaf Occasional Table circa, 1890 was originally used as a serving table however would make the ideal lamp or side table. It has two beautifully figured circular mahogany tops with drop leaves and satinwood crossbanded edge, boxwood and ebony string inlay. Standing on an elegant turned pedestal with tripod splayed legs and quality brass castors. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
