Chippendale Chest on Chest

Description

Here we have a fine Georgian Chippendale Chest on Chest. It is wonderful quality, a lovely colour and has the most superb gilt brass handles.

It is in very well figured mahogany and dates from the George III period, around 1770. It stands on its original bracket feet, all the drawers are oak lined and have their original superb gilt brass handles.

It has had some minor repairs over it’s over 200 years of life and is now in good un-restored condition. There is a small piece missing from one handle on the bottom drawer of the base. I would leave this as it is but I can get a new handle cast if required.

The maximum dimensions are:

127cm (50“) wide

189cm (74.5“) high

58cm (23“) deep
