The Antique Furniture Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Comprising a three door wardrobe, double bed, tallboy, dressing table, stool and pair of chairs, the wardrobe has a central bevelled glass mirror door enclosing a long 18 ½in (47cm) deep hanging space with a rail, hooks and shelf above, whilst the right hand side has four removable shelves. The dressing table has a bevelled mirror to the centre with inlaid surround and supported by two tapering inlaid uprights and has a matching walnut and macassar edged stool, the double bed is panelled and inlaid to both the head and footboard which are connected by two iron rails whilst the tallboy has a pair of marquetry inlaid cupboard doors below three drawers.

In good condition with impressed numbers to the reverse and ‘Gaylayde Modern Decorative Furniture’ labels, the colour has mellowed and the twist action to the wardrobe door handles does not work and a handle of the dressing table has been repaired. The mirrors are in good condition with minor fine spotting, minor old scratches to surfaces and losses to veneers (mostly to the macassar at the base of the pieces and around the stool).
