18th Century English Antique Elm Settle Seat.

This is a fabulous example of a Georgian antique settle in elm that is a wonderful, original colour. Slightly concave in shape with lovely wide back boards, this country antique settle has a canopy roof and stands on sledge style feet. An unusual added extra is a small, door on the back that opens to give somewhere to stash secret stuff! In superb, orignal condition, all very correct with lovely patination. This English antique elm settle dates from the 18th century, around 1770.
