Description

The very finest quality 19th century wall-hanging shelves. This incredible set of mahogany shelves – the finest we've seen in many years – is comprised of a three-quarter gallery upstand over three graduated tiers supported by elegant uprights of S-scroll form. There is a panelled back and a simple straight-moulded edge to the base. Only the very best fiddleback mahogany timbers have been used and the untouched finish exudes a warm colour and rich patina. English, c.1850 – c.1875.
