Georgian Antique Painted Pine Settle Seat from Cumbria.

This is a very original 18th century antique pine settle seat that is still in it's original paint finish. In super condition, all pegged construction and all very strong. A lovely design, originally from the Cumbria region, this antique settle features turned front legs and arm supports with a reeded back splats that form the galleried back rest. The open arms are a good shape. The original Georgian paint has worn beautifully in places. A lovely model that dates from around 1780.
