18th Cent Oak Plate Rack

Description

18th Cent Oak Plate Rack

This is a very smart oak plate rack. I think it is French and dates from the late 18th /early 19th Cent. It is in good condition but has two spindles missing from the 2nd and 3rd shelves. At some time it has been given a coat of varnish, this is now peeling off and can be easily removed with wire wool or your thumb nail. It will then be ready for a coat of wax and will look fantastic.

The maximum dimensions are:

140cm (55“) wide

102cm (40“) high

17cm (7“) deep
