Description

Japanese red and black lacquer corner whatnot with two open shelves and two cupboards concealed by four curved sliding doors. Decorated with fine carvings in ivory, bone and mother of pearl, depicting flowers, birds, dragonfly and butterfly. All panels are perfect. There is a minor repair at the base of the left upright column on the lower open tier (this can be seen in one of the images).
