Large 19th Century Antique Box Seat Settle in Paint.

This is a fabulous, large scale piece of original painted pine furniture that dates from around 1840-50 and is from Scotland. Made in solid yellow pine with an open back rest, shaped arms and lift up seat compartments, great for sneaky storage. In very good, strong and original condition, this antique box seat settle is panel fronted as are the sides and it features decorative carved bobbin work to the front edges. An unusual piece of antique painted pine seating with the extra storage.
