17th Century English Antique Oak Box on Stand.

This is a wonderful piece of period oak furniture that dates from William & Mary period in the seventeenth century. This antique oak writing box is on it's original oak stand, un-polished finish and a great colour. The writing slope top has it's original iron butterfly hinges and pigeon holes to the interior. The base stands on turned legs with a square stretcher. There is a single drawer to the base which has the period, brass handles. A lovely, early piece of period oak furniture that is in very original condition.
