Here is a fine quality antique Edwardian walnut box settle, circa 1910, in excellent original condition. The back is supported by arms either side of the seat, with a down swept design incorporating reeded detail. The settle features a lockable box section below. The door retains its original working lock (with a key) and it allows the box to be secured whilst the door is closed. A brass stay supports the door whilst open.
