Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
These also occur again further down. Beneath the mirror there is a single shelf which is held in place by a simple stylish bracket on each side. There is an open section with three uprights beneath this, and a flat section over a single drawer. To each side of it, there is open fretwork and two turned and tapering columns with knob tops. The hall stand stands on square legs at the front, which taper when they go beneath the bottom shelf. There is an aperture for two trays, however the trays are missing. Very unusual, stylish hall stand.
